This was a very extra-litter. I know there are probably a lot rumours going round, so I will write about it. For the first it was not planned, Linga was already on the elderly side and had no previous litters, Arvis was too young, only 8months old and not x-rayed. I was just home from work and went out with Arvis and leashed him at the apple tree. Then I went in and for Linga and Madame. Arvis was not at this time very housebroke and I thought there was something wet on the floor. At the same time I went to clean it I saw that Linga was out (escaped) with Arvis leashed on the appletree, and it was too late for stopping it. There had been a carpet between the door so it was not fully closed...The insident happened just before our holiday "Valborg/First May" and because of the Vets in Turku not being willing to give preventives to the bitch, a long wait begun. I was told only if the bitch after 4weeks was showed pregnant the pups could be killed, this was not what I would like to do. So I waited and hoped she would not be pregnant. Of coarse she was... So I planned together with our vet in Naantali that the birth should be through c-section, for being easier for the bitch, and so that nothing would go wrong.
We had a few days full of excitement after the c-section, when Linga did not recognise the pups as her own. She was scared of them and thought they were somebody elses pups. She did not want to have anything to do with them, and we didn´t know what to do. Two years later a friend told me that in an other breed is common knowledge that you should wait until the birth has begun, (in this other breed the bitch can kill her pups because she doesn´t know they are hers). Luckily Madame was close to giving birth to her own pups and took care of Linga´s pups. She nursed them and gave them milk so that all pups survived! Every day, with the struggle to get Linga to not be scared of her own pups, gave something more, we sometimes forced her to lay down and tricked her with treats and each time was little bit easier, and at the end she could even smell at her pups. At the 6th day Linga had gone trough all hormone-things and caught interest for her own pups.
At the 6th day she had given birth to her imagine pups under a table, and begun to lick and take care and nurse her real puppies and Madame got her well earned rest before her own huge litter of 11. After this day Madame was not longer welcome to visit the pups.I can tell it probably must not have been easy to feed the pups of another dog when her own was still in her belly. Thanks to Madame all went well! Later Linga was the best and most careful mother there can be, all day she slept and played in the box with her fat babies, and she was very relaxed and happy. Linga continued until her sudden death in summer 2007, to take care of her dearest puppy Sashka. No afterwards I am so greatful for having my two girls Teddy and Sashka after Linga, as Linga was such a special dog that will stay in my heart forever. The pups also has got the happiness and tailwagging from their dad and I like all of them a lot.

Litter is born 10.7.2007, 4 boys and 7 girls. No ridgeless, no DS, no bitefaults (but missing teeth on Eden and others don't remember), some kinks? or uneven tails, one 3-crown one half ridge. All testicles down.
Zorro is a gentle and kind warmhearted boy that comes well along also with other males. He is the golden boy "Kultapoika" for his owners Anne and Marko. He is 67cm high and weights 45 kg, that tells how strong and well musculated he is. He is red and very beautiful. His head is elegant and of good proportions. He is playful (invites for a play) and takes good eyecontact. When moving it is with ease and emotion. He is a great successfull showdog and has many superb children, among worldwinners and champions. He is Cv titled in Finland, equal to ROM.
Zorro has litters in Russia, Holland and two in Finland (at Mahiri Retta´s and Mbwasimba), Sweden and more on it´s way. He is a very successfull showdog and stayed high up as well on bestpuppy-competition (Nr 1 2005) as all/trough show RR 2006 (Nr 2) in Finland. For up to date results and titles visit his own page. He is Champion in Finland, Estonia and International Ch is pending. His best result is Best in Show-3 on a all breed show!
Zorro has good hips (B/B) and elbows( 0/0), and is free from OCD and is healthy. Zorro is bred by Anne Sassi, kennel Tarujen. Thank you Anne Stromberg for letting me use him on Madame!
Mother of this litter is Mahiri Retta´s Kiazikikuu. She holds 1 CAC, and BOB, BIG3 with only very limited showing. Also a Res-Cac. I hope to finnish her championship. Madame is an active and playful girl with a hobbie as rescuedog. She is retired from the hobbies. She has 5+championtitles in her progeny at least.
Madame has scissorbite but misses one P3 upper left.. She is on the smaller side, 62,5cm and 31,5kg, but no one can run as she=) and her muscles show she also does it. She is free from AD and HD ( 0/0 & A/A) and has been healthy all her life. We have started to train agility at her aged almost 7 years, she is very active and flexible=) We have also trained rescue (haku pk).
Pentueen isä on ytäväni Anne Strömbergin ja hänen miehensä Markon kultapoika Zorro eli virallisesti Tarujen Penzi. Zorro tulee siis Tarujen kennelistä ja on Sassin Annen kasvatti. (Samasta kennelistä tule myös Suomen voitokkain rr-koira Multi Ch Multi Winner Tarujen Mabaru).
Zorrolla on hieno näyttelyura nuoresta iästään huolimatta takanaan, ja nimen edestä löytyy titteleitä moneen makuun. Fin, Est Ch, Int Ch vahvistusta vailla, Euroopan Juniorivoittaja-06 sekä Baltian Juniorivoittaja-06. Zorro on voittanut Suomen Ridgebackyhdistyksen pentukiertopalkinto Luca-Cup 2005 ja oli toinen koira Portinvartija Maljan listalla- eli oli Suomen toiseksi voitokkain koira 2006. Zorron isä on tunnettu "Dodge" joka oli paras uros CRUFTS:ssa 2006, eli maailman ehkä tunnetuimmassa näyttelyssä joka kaiken lisäksi on Englannissa! (Ch Ngai Zamu of Ginba´s Hero)
Zorro on erittäin syvänpunainen lihaksikas ja vahvaluustoinen uros jolla on hyvät, pitkät maatavoittavat liikkeet. Zorrolla on yksi pentue Hollannissa, ja toinen Venäjällä. Madamen ja Zorron pentue on kolmas pentue hänelle... Neljäs on syntynyt 10.10.07 kennel Mbwasimbaan.
Zorro on terve, lihaksikas 67 cm ja yli 40kg painava, jolla on kuvattu B/B lonkat ja 0/0 kyynäret. Lisäksi purenta on täysi saksipurenta. Zorro on kehuttu erittäin kiltiksi ja kultaiseksi pojaksi joka tulee toimeen jopa urosten kanssa! Kaunis kiitos kerran vielä Anne ja Marko!
Pentue on Madamen ensimmäinen ja kennelin kolmas. Astutus tapahtui 8 ja 9 toukokuuta, ja pennut syntyivt 10 heinäkuu 2007. 4 poikaa ja 7 tyttöä

Pentueen äiti on Madame eli virallisesti Mahiri Retta´s Kiazikikuu. Hän on syntynyt Suomen itsenäisyyspäivänä eli 6.12.2003. Hänen vanhemmat ovat Duméla Ra Esprie Ruotsista ja Mbwasimba Mahiri Retta.
Madame on ollut täysin terve koko elämänsä, hän on kuvattu lonkille A/A ja kyynärpäille 0/0. Näin on myös muut kuvatut sisarukset samasta pentueesta. Madamella on saksipurenta mutta yksi P3 vasemmasta yläleuasta puuttuu. Hän on 62.5 cm kooltaan ja painaa 31,5kg. Näyttelyissä on kehuttu erityisesti hänen liikkeet ja lihakset. Paras tulos on Paras narttu-4 Ahvenanmaalta 2005(oli paras suomalainen rr-narttu ja hävisi tädilllleen) ja Raision ROP ja RYP-3 sekä sert Elokuu 2006. Näyttelyissä ollaan käyty vain harvoin, mutta mätsäreissä hieman enemmän, ja hän on pärjännyt hyvin koska hän on terverakenteinen hyvinliikkuva peruskoira.
